1. Scope & Controller
This Privacy Policy applies to the website www.adhoopu.com and all subdomains, operated by ADHOOPU Technology Co., Ltd. (Shenzhen) ("ADHOOPU", "we", "us"). ADHOOPU is the data controller for personal data collected through this site.
2. What We Collect
- Account & inquiry data: name, company, role, country, email, phone, WhatsApp number when you submit a contact form, distributor application, or evaluation-unit request.
- Correspondence: emails and messages you send to jimmy@adhoopu.com or info@adhoopu.com or any @adhoopu.com address.
- Technical data: IP address, browser type, operating system, referring URL, pages visited, timestamps — captured by our web server logs and Google Analytics 4.
- Cookies: see section 8 and the Cookie Notice.
3. Why We Collect It
- Respond to sales, technical and distributor inquiries.
- Process evaluation-unit and OEM/ODM orders.
- Send product updates, firmware notices and distributor newsletters — only if you have opted in.
- Improve the website, monitor security, and prevent abuse.
- Comply with legal obligations under PRC, EU and applicable export-control regulations.
4. Legal Basis (GDPR Art. 6)
- Consent — for newsletters and non-essential cookies.
- Contract — to respond to and fulfil inquiries, evaluation orders and OEM agreements.
- Legitimate interest — for security monitoring and basic analytics.
- Legal obligation — for tax, export-control and accounting records.
5. Sharing & Processors
We do not sell personal data. We share only with vetted processors under written data-processing agreements:
- Google Workspace (Gmail, Drive) — business email and file storage.
- Tencent Cloud (Hong Kong / Singapore regions) — web hosting and CDN for www.adhoopu.com.
- Google Analytics 4 — anonymized usage analytics (IP anonymization enabled).
- WhatsApp / Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd. — when you message our sales WhatsApp numbers.
- Logistics providers — name, address, phone for shipping evaluation units.
- Regulators / courts — only when required by binding legal process.
6. Retention
Inquiry data: 24 months from last contact. Evaluation-unit order data: 7 years (tax / warranty). Server logs: 90 days. Analytics: 14 months (GA4 default). We delete or anonymize data when the retention period expires.
7. Your Rights
Subject to applicable law (GDPR, CCPA, PIPL), you have the right to:
- Request access to the personal data we hold about you.
- Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Request deletion ("right to be forgotten").
- Object to processing or restrict it.
- Request data portability in a machine-readable format.
- Withdraw consent at any time, without affecting prior lawful processing.
- Lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.

8. Cookies
We use a small number of cookies — see our full Cookie Notice. Strictly-necessary cookies are set without consent; analytics cookies require opt-in via the cookie banner.
9. International Transfers
ADHOOPU is based in Shenzhen, China. Data you submit may be processed in China, Hong Kong, Singapore, Ireland or the United States depending on the processor used. We rely on Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) and equivalent safeguards for transfers outside your jurisdiction.
10. Security
We protect data with TLS encryption in transit, encryption at rest for stored files, access controls, 2FA on all administrative accounts, and quarterly access reviews. No system is 100% secure; if a breach occurs we notify affected users and competent authorities within 72 hours (GDPR).
11. Children
This website and our products are not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If you believe a minor has submitted data, contact privacy@adhoopu.com and we will delete it.
12. Changes to this Policy
We may update this policy. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the current version. Material changes will be announced via a banner on www.adhoopu.com for at least 30 days.
